       beside the white geese 

        let us go then you and I
        to get pizza

                water water everywhere
                the Mississippi lapping
                at our porch

                I've seen the best minds
                of my generation
                cryonically frozen

        and miles to go before
        I upgrade to first class

        my child's balloon
        disappearing
        into that good night
